That's my husband!

Andrew and I attended the British Business Forum Executive Awards Dinner this last week. He was one of six who recieved an award of excellence for furthering british business in Kuwait. He was the only one who is the sole representative and not part of a team for his company in country. The dhow (ship) is handmade and a traditional gift in Kuwait. I am very proud of him and his accomplishments. And isn't he incredibly handsome in his tux?

Beautiful flowers

So these are the amazing flowers that Andrew's work sent to me when I had my procedure a couple of weeks ago. I was totally floored! There were 15 white roses, lillies and orchids. They do some of the most fabulous flower arrangements here.

I only threw them out this week and some of the lillies were still hanging on two weeks plus later.
