Lyon, France

When we arrived in France it was in the evening so we decided to stay in Lyon where we landed. We were lucky because there was a Hilton there and we were able to stay on points. In the past we have been upgraded when we were paying for the rooms but not when we were on reward points. This time when we checked in they upgraded us to a Junior Suite which was really nice and had the most wonderful jacuzzi tub in the bath.
Well, we decided to go back to the Hilton again before we flew out and stay on points again. This time we didn't get the upgrade to the junior suite. Instead for the first time ever we were given the Presidential Suite. Oh my goodness! For starters it was approximately a fourth of the entire floor of the hotel. The room had three different entrance doors including one for the staff to come in unnoticed and service the room.

Of course, Andrew enjoyed the huge jacuzzi tub but he also found some time to do a little computer work too.

The morning we were flying out we walked across the road to the most beautiful park. We only walked about two miles but really enjoyed communing with nature. The flowers were in bloom.

It was a very nice way to relax before we got on our long flight back.
